ROLE SUMMARY
The Sales Executive is required to improve the company’s market position and achieve financial growth. Their responsibilities include discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, increasing sales, finding new clients, negotiating deals, and maintaining customer satisfaction. This entails building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating, and closing business deals as well as maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions. In addition, they must also manage existing clients and ensure that they remain satisfied and positive about the service provided.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum: Senior Certificate or NQF level 4 equivalent
- Preferred: B-Degree in Sales / Marketing / Customer Relations
EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years work-related skill, knowledge, or experience.
- Car rental and industry experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prioritizing and scheduling of tasks / cold-calling / sales visits.
- Cold call within to ensure a pipeline of opportunities.
- Plan sales approaches or tactics that cater to the clients’ needs.
- Escalate identified limitations to the Line Manager.
- Take all necessary and approved measures to obtain set targets.
- Prospect for potential new clients.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services to clients, when required.
- Arrange and participate in client debriefs.
- Gather feedback from clients or prospects and share with internal teams.
- Identify new business opportunities at clients.
- Provide a post-conversation analysis.
- Ensure that data is maintained on the Client Database – track and record activity on accounts.
- Submit weekly reports and ensure that the data is accurate.
- Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed.
- Forecast and meet sales targets.
- Communicate new deals that have been done.
- Report monthly on sales targets.
- Actively identify new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate client needs.
